STEM Leadership Conference, reconvene March 7, 2008: The STEM Leadership participants met on March 7th at Honolulu Community College. The working groups (Partnerships, Integrated Curricula, Equity / Access, Communication, Excellence & Sustainability) presented their "action plans". We discussed the plans and how to move forward as a community. (Background) STEM Leadership participant organizations met on Nov 29th at Honolulu Community College. Francis Oda and Allan Cardines led a discussion of the P.I.E.C.E.S. (Partnerships, Integrated Curricula, Equity / Access, Communication, Excellence & Sustainability) working groups. All attendees participated in one of the five working groups (P.I.E.C.E.S.) and began the process of defining the mission for each group. At the conclusion of the meeting all groups reconvened and reported their progress and next steps. Please review the events section below for meeting dates and information.
